Privacy Policy

MusclePal is made by Indie Goodies. This policy explains what the app stores when you train, log food, or sign in with Apple.
Account
MusclePal uses Sign in with Apple. Apple may share your name and email address, or a private relay address, depending on what you choose. The app does not offer a separate password account.
What we store
- Profile details you enter, such as name, sex, height, weight, goal, equipment, and training days.
- Workouts you log: exercises, sets, reps, and weight.
- Meals you log, including calories and macros.
- Food photos you choose to upload, stored in your account so a meal can be estimated.
- A rank based on your training load, kept on your device and with your account.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, MusclePal reads height, weight, and step count to fill your profile and estimate activity calories. MusclePal does not write health data, and it does not use health data for advertising.
Photos
The camera and photo library are used when you log a meal. A photo you submit is uploaded to your account and sent to our server to estimate calories. You can delete the account, which removes stored photos.
Services
Account data is stored with Google Firebase. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Product analytics may be processed by Mixpanel. Each service processes data under its own policy.
Delete your account
In the app, open You and choose Remove account. MusclePal asks you to sign in with Apple again, revokes the Apple token, then deletes your workouts, meals, photos, and profile. This cannot be undone.
